A cup of coffee...or two...Inkspirational Challenge #66~Beverages/Drinks

Happy Saturday, all!  I'm thrilled to be back with my ever-so talented design team members. as well as our fabulous guest designer, Mary, from  Mary V, for Inkspirational Challenge #66, which I had the honour of choosing...

At the time when I selected this challenge-theme, I had no idea that Monday, Sept. 29th was "National Coffee Day". My inspiration was pretty basic: a sheet of coffee themed cardstock that needed attention, as well as my coffee cup and rosette dies.  Two simple creations for you: a coffee envelope and mini coffee card.  The cardstock is very happy at finally making its debut...

With your beverage of choice in hand, enjoy a wander over to Inkspirational Challenges #66, visit the designers ~

Guest Designer, Mary V

~ who I know would love to hear from you, then bring out your beverage/drink themed stamps and dies, and join the gallery.  We will be inviting a top pick/s from this challenge to be a Guest Designer.  I'd be thrilled if it were 'you'!

A little side note:  If you opt to create a coffee-themed card, keep it 'secret' until Sept. 29, when you can join in at Chaitali's Coffee Lovers' Bloghop, held in conjunction with National Coffee Day.  She's dialed in to hostess a wonderfully fun hop, complete with great prizes to be won, too!
Guess I'll have to make another coffee card and play along *grin*

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!

I so wish I liked coffee, but I just don't. Can get down one small cup and then I'm done with it for the next 6 months. lol Your envie and card is just too cute Carol! That coffee paper is amazing and I love that you made a cute shaped card from the "to go cup" die. Didn't know that the 29th was coffee day, so learned something new there. lol I hope you have a beautiful weekend Carol! Hugs, Brenda

Love that paper!! It awesome. So are your card and matching envelope. I like the design of the card. It's super! I should probably up have some coffee related stamps and such in my stash but I don't. I don't drink it so I guess I don't think to buy any. Oh well. That coffee die looks fun though. :-). Hugs!

I type all that while sitting here at the computer with a nice hot cup of coffee myself :) It's decaf though, if I drink regular, I talk to much! haha! I hope you had a wonderful day and stayed warm in your Sorel boots with the cozy wool inserts ;) heheheh! (( Warm hugs))

The coffee cardstock is awesome! I don't drink coffee so tend to steer away from such things which is silly given how much friends and family adore the beverage. I'm going to have to try and get some stamps and paper into my stash - thanks for enabling! haha Love the card and the envelope. So graphic and clean! It's a typical C card! :)

Great card. The coffee theme goes so well with kraft paper. And you even have a National Coffee Day, that's kind of funny ;o)

Two awesome cards, Carol! I love the 'rustic' background with the pretty pink on the cups! What a beautiful rosette, and your envie is fabulous! You are so creative!!!

Yup, seriously awesome coffee themed cards! The cards stock could not be more perfect. It just sets the "mood" for the cards and envie beautifully - I can practically smell coffee just looking at them! The white and pink cups are perfect - they are sweet all on their own, but they also showcase the coffee card stock fabulously!

Love the coffee themed paper.....so Starbuck-ee! Another great idea and the perfect way to say thanks! The rose-pink-burgandy-ish ink looks great with the kraft! Awesome way to incorporate the rosette die into your design!

Sure does conjure up the craving for a yummy latte!
